A Share of Tzulong Dharma Text

After Manjusri Bodhisattva finished lecturing on the Great Virtue of Non-chaos Pure Act, in order to manifest the merits of the Bodhi mind, he asked Hsien Shou (Foremost in Virtue) Bodhisattva to expound the magnificent merits of cultivation for the public. Hsien Shou Bodhisattva answered with the following verse:
Bodhisattvas vow to seek the Bodhi out of affinities.
They give rise to a pure conviction in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, and from this give rise to a broad mind.
They don’t seek the Five Desires or throne, nor abundance, self-pleasure or big fame, but vow to benefit the world and extinguish the suffering of living beings forever.
