Opinions II

Opinions II
An opinion is a misconception, because the mundane knowledge and opinions are gained by looking at the superficial false phenomena rather than the reality of life.
When a person is restrained by his own opinions, he will fall into the path of delusion about life and death, unable to get liberated and see his genuine, unrestrained self.
It’s a wrong view when one sees flourishing trees in spring and says that they have luxuriant leaves and are full of vitality or when in autumn the branches and leaves are withered, he will say that they are dying.
Living things are born in spring, grow in summer, wither in autumn, and sleep in winter. This is, in fact, the decrease and growth of life and shows that in the flood of life all phenomena are so natural and the same.
One should not give rise to any thought when seeing life and death or the change of the appearance of anything. One who clearly knows the phenomena of life will remain untouched when seeing matters in life.
It will be the way one sees his innermost being if he is not bound by any superficial false forms, does not take the name or appearance of anything to heart, has no adherent views, and thus does not have a lost mind.
