The Movements of Clouds and Waters
行到水窮處,坐看雲起時,
禪者是內自證的修行,
其滋味如人飲水,冷暖自知。
他人無法同享,
勝事惟自能知。
意化於無形的境界,
行到是大死,坐看是得活,
偶然是任運,此真道行履。
在冷寞寂寥中有活潑生機
在自然實景中有禪意映現
山河天眼裏、世界法身中
一山一水、一草一木
都在空寂的天眼中繽紛顯現。
何其自性本具萬有
何其自性本無生滅
寂;萬物在空寂之中自展生機。
惟:靜寂的境界才能不著生滅。
真如佛性,存在於宇宙萬物之中,
寂滅與萬有,圓融於般若的空性。
佛法在世間、不離世間覺
離世覓菩提、恰如求兔角

The Movements of Clouds and Waters
When I travel to the end of the water flow, I sit watching the rising of the clouds.
A Zen practitioner cultivates the inner self-confirmation and only he himself knows how it feels, just like only the person who drinks water knows whether it’s cold or hot. Other people cannot share the feeling, and only he himself knows such a magnificent matter in which the intention turns into nothing. Moving to the end of the water flow means death, while sitting and watching the clouds means living. A random accident is the destiny, and a true path should be trod on.
There is vitality in the cold loneliness, and there are Buddhism subtleties in the real scene of nature. In the heavenly eyes of the mountains and rivers, and in the Dharma body of the world, all the mountains, waters, and plants will appear in riotous profusion in the empty, silent heavenly eyes.
What is the innate nature of sentient beings? It originally possesses everything.
What is the innate nature of sentient beings? It originally has neither arising nor extinction. Only in emptiness and silence can all things manifest their vitality, and only in silent realms can they refrain from sticking to arising and extinction.
The Buddha nature of True Suchness exists in all things in the universe, and the silent extinction and the universe are perfect in the emptiness of prajnaparamita.
The Buddhist Dharma is in this world. If one wants to get enlightened by the Buddhist Dharma, he should stay in this world. Leaving this world in search of Bodhi is like looking for the rabbit’s horns, which is unattainable.
