Cultivating Bodhi—VII

Cultivating Bodhi—VII
During the gradual, sequential cultivation, we have to set a specific goal and clearly observe the arising thought. Then we won’t be at a loss when adversities come.
We should form an aspiration to serve the masses voluntarily. We can broaden our heart and get rid of our arrogance through circumstances. To recite sutras and hear, think about, practice and understand the dharma principles is the dual cultivation of bliss and wisdom. In doing so, it is not difficult to make achievements.
If we understand the Buddhist Dharma through hearing, thinking, and practice, we will be like the sunlight that shines through the clouds on people and everything in the world and also make ourselves feel warm.
The first step in cultivation is to cultivate the mind. With the goal, vow, and firm conviction, we can change the inherent attachment and feel the true meaning of life.
On the path of cultivation, whatever we are doing, we should not ask for quick reciprocation. We will harvest as long as we mindfully cultivate Bodhi without regression.
When universally seeing the real form, the eye is mindful of Buddhas.
When conversely hearing the self-nature, the ear is mindful of Buddhas.
When constantly smelling the fragrance of dharmas, the nose is mindful of Buddhas.
When frequently tasting one dish, the tongue is mindful of Buddhas.
When wondrously touching and confirming, the body is mindful of Buddhas.
When jointly upholding the magnificent principles, the intention is mindful of Buddhas.
When continuously looking at Buddhas, the form is mindful of Buddhas.
When exclusively having Amitabha in mind, the nature is mindful of Buddhas.
When both Buddhas and thoughts disappear, the Samadhi is mindful of Buddhas.
When relying on rightness and magnificence, the repletion is mindful of Buddhas.
My gratitude to my teacher and the favor of the Three Treasures. Auspiciousness to everybody.
