CAUSE AND EFFECT

CAUSE AND EFFECT
The law of karma is very realistic. Such cause as you do, so such effect shall you perceive. This is for sure. If calculated with a computer, the accumulation of both good and bad karmas will not be as precise as moral retributions. After all, man proposes but God disposes. Right and wrong, merits and faults are all under the rule of cause and effect.

Here is a verse that goes:
Good is like a green pine while bad is like a flower.
Seen at present, the pine is inferior to the flower.
But if one day both are stricken by frost,
Only the pine survives.

Ordinarily when we see the beautifully blooming flowers that warm the heart and delight the eye, we will be fascinated and ignore the green flourishing pine trees that give us shade beside us. One day, when the freezing frost strikes and the brilliant white snow floats, all flowers will fade and fall to the ground. Suddenly we find that the pine trees are upright there and are unafraid of the cold wind.

The karma of good and evil in life is like that of the pine and the flower. You should remember to behave yourself and to be responsible for what you say and do. No one can substitute your karma, so beware of your body, speech and thought and diligently cultivate the good blessing ground.

Amitabha Buddha! Auspiciousness to everybody.
