Waking Up to Reality

寒潭映月 空谷傳聲
眾生本覺 皆觀自在

    一個修行人內心寧靜,是最有力量的修行。俗云:「人的痛苦,源自於追求認為是對的目標。」對著自己所定下的標的,就這麼長長久久地追逐著,殊不知,有些不甘放下的目標,往往並不是值得爭取的。

    對於有些事物的苦苦追逐,卻往往又不是生命需要的。那需要什麼?先讓心靜下來,心靜了,才不會在煩惱的驅駛下,不知不覺做了許多傷害自、他的事情。

    修行、修心,醒悟之覺,來自澄澈的心靈。那些迷惑和煩惱,不再擾動心靈、不再讓覺知迷失,修行可以幫助自己堅定的走出黑暗之林。

光明 是生命中一股暖流
道本自然
讓生命中種種蒙蔽、執著,學習放下。

    人生在世間,越是成功之人,他所遭受的委屈…越多。何謂放下?要學會放下、一笑置之。用慈悲為善念,轉化逆境心情,無論人、事、物,堅持正信念,展現舒坦喜悅,享自得其樂之生活。

    云:欲得淨土,但淨其心。
        隨其心淨,即佛土淨。

    學習佛法,首要學習放下…,放下了……,則萬物色相皆涵蘊。

Waking Up to Reality

The cold lake reflects the moon, and the empty valley transmits the voice.  The innate perceptions of sentient beings are all unrestrained when it comes to viewing things.

The calmness within a spiritual practitioner is the most forceful part of cultivation.  It is said that the pain of people results from pursuing what they think is right.  So they keep chasing the goals they set, but some goals they are unwilling to let go of are often not worthy of striving for. 

A few things people painfully pursue are not needed in life.  Then, what do we really need?  We should calm down first so that we will not, driven by afflictions, do things that may hurt both ourselves and others. 

The correction of behaviors, the cultivation of the mind, and the waking up to reality all come from a clear soul.  The delusions and afflictions do not bother the soul and do not confuse the perceptions anymore.  Cultivation can help us firmly walk out of the dark forest.

Brightness is like a warm wave in life that may make us let go of deception and adherence in life.

Those who are more successful have felt more wronged.  We should learn how to let go of things and laugh them away.  We should use compassion and good intentions to transform the adversity moods, insist on our right convictions towards people, matters, and objects, manifest our comfort and pleasure, and find amusement in our own way. 

To reach the Pure Land, all you have to do is purify your heart.  A purified heart is the Buddha’s Pure Land.

The first step in learning the Buddhist Dharma is to learn how to let go of things.  Once they are let go of, everything will be contained.
