Cultivating Bodhi—V
永嘉證道歌：
「觀惡言是功德藏，不因訕誇起冤親。
若無逆境常來磨，何顯無生慈忍力。」
我們修行當中，見聞覺知隨時會改變，學佛、學禪的清淨本性，則不能變易，要好好護持自己的純淨心。
人活在世上，人間一切境界本來空寂，都是虛假的幻象，痴迷之人看不破，就會被身邊的情境牽動，陷進流轉無窮的人情世故泥沼！
大眾！當知一切事物，都如幻形幻影，沒有一樣是真實存在的，無業禪師說：「常了一切空，無一物當情。」
覺悟本性是自己 真藏不壞任緣起
把握片斷化永恆 直將生滅轉涅槃
修行道上共勉勵

Cultivating Bodhi—V
Master Yong Chia had this verse to confirm principles:
Observing evil talk is the store of merits.
One should not incur hatred because of slander.
If one is not tortured by adversities often,
How can he manifest the power of non-arising compassion and tolerance?
During cultivation, our knowledge and awareness may change anytime, but we should not change the pure nature in learning Buddhism and dhyana. Rather, we should guard our pure mind.
Everything in this human world is innately empty, silent and illusory. Those deluded ones cannot see through it and will be led by the circumstances around them. Then they will fall into the difficulty of social relationship that will repeat again and again.
So we should know that everything is illusory and nothing really exists. Zen Master Wu Yeh said, “Always know that all are empty and do not be touched by a single thing.”
It is you yourself that should realize the innate nature,
Which is hidden, does not decay, and allows affinities to rise.
Seize the moment and turn it into eternality.
Turn birth and extinction into Nirvana.
Let’s encourage each other on the path of cultivation.
